Ms. Almazan has 19 years with the company and in this position, she is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and directing the global efforts to ensure appropriate programs and procedures are in place to meet the Company's import and export compliance obligations. Ms. Almazan began her career with Stauffer Chemicals in 1981 as a process engineer. From 1984 to 1991, she taught high school science in the Houston metropolitan area and obtained her master's degree in secondary education. She later returned to engineering as an environmental engineer with ARCO Chemical Company, now known as LyondellBasell Industries. It was during this time that Ms. Almazan pursued and completed her law degree in 1997.
