Lucinda Kilborn, MPH Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Epidemiology

HOUSTON, TX, April 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lucinda Kilborn, MPH, Chief Epidemiologist at Harris County Public Health & Environmental Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of epidemiology.
With an impressive background that spans 33 years of professional experience, 14 of which have been in her current position, Ms. Kilborn's expertise lies in microbiology. At her post, she is responsible for undertaking public health and bioterrorism preparedness measures, consulting, updating database and troubleshooting. In addition, she is charged with diagnosing infectious diseases, responding to public health issues and concerns, treating gastrointestinal diseases, undertaking bioterrorism preparedness measures. Her networking skills and her ability to share her experience, knowledge and ideas with other professionals are what she considers to be the necessary tools for her to achieve the success she has enjoyed thoughout her illustrious career.
Ms. Kilborn received her Master of Public Health from the University of Texas in 1989 and her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Houston in 1975. She is a member of the Texas Public Health Association as well as the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists and is a supporter of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
